Sunday -             4.30pm-6.30pm - 8yr & Over

When do we race?

BMX trains and races in line with the school terms, year round and our club races every Friday night. Racing starts at  7.00pm Friday night.

Riders must register prior to racing, with registration via the phone on (07) 4729 0013 from 8am - 6.00pm and via the office from 5.45 - 6.45pm.

Registration closes at 6.55pm sharp and it is important to adhere to these times as the ladies in the office require the 30 minutes between closing of registration and commencement of racing to organise the race sheets etc.

We run 3 motos, a short break and then 2 motos. Riders are grouped by age and racing starts from the starting gate and travels in one direction only. Practice is encouraged before racing starts with the track generally opening at approximately 6.15pm for practise and gates.

Due to the nature of the weather over summer in North Queensland, it is advisable to check the phone message on (07) 4729 0013 or this website if it has been raining.

The condition of the track will be inspected prior to 3pm each day when it has been raining and a decision is made by 3pm for training and racing that night.

Please be aware that this is sometimes a difficult decision to make and that the committee do their best to predict how the weather will effect the track that night.

Friday - New members only if riding that night 6.00pm - 6.30pm.

Friday - Registration closes at 6.45pm SHARP
Office closes between 8.00pm - 8.15pm

Note - All new BMXA licences must provide one of the following a Birth Certificate, Passport or Drivers licence.

Licences & Rego

Your current BMXA Licence / green slip are to be presented at the office when nominating a rider for a Friday night race meet.

There will be a list of riders BMXA licences that are due to expire per calendar month at the office, please check this list to see if you need to renew your BMXA licence.

All riders with expired BMXA licences will not be permitted to ride or train at the track until they hold a current BMXA licence / green slip.

All renewals and new club members can do their licences on the following days;
Friday - New Members only if riding on that night 6.00pm - 6.30pm
Friday - Renewals after 7.15pm
Friday - Registration closes at 6.45pm SHARP.
Office closes between 8.00pm - 8.15pm
